Dallas City Council Votes $8 Million for Vickery Midtown Grant Fund and Community Improvements on Park Lane

On September 9, the Dallas City Council voted to authorize the acceptance of a little over $8 million dollars for the Park Lane-Vickery Meadow Grant Fund.

These funds will be used for the reconstruction of roadway to accommodate sidewalks and a bicycle lane on Park Lane from Greenville Avenue to Hemlock Avenue, as well as intersection improvement at Shady Brook Lane and the Five Points intersections.

This investment will completely enhance the quality of life for all residents in Vickery Midtown, providing safer spaces and pathways to become more active and mobile, with more efficiency.

We look forward to keeping you updated on the progress as the designs process for for this improvement begin in December 2020.
